Artificial Grass
Artificial Grass Installation in Dubai
Artificial grass is one of the most requested upgrades in Dubai gardens, mainly because a real lawn is genuinely difficult to keep looking good through peak summer without heavy watering. Done properly, artificial turf gives a permanently green, low-water surface — but the result depends almost entirely on turf grade and base preparation, which is where a rushed installation usually goes wrong.

Artificial grass installation
We supply and install UV-stabilised artificial turf built specifically for Gulf summers, not generic turf rated for milder climates. The installation itself — sub-base preparation, drainage, edging and seam work — determines how the lawn performs and looks over the following years far more than the turf product alone.
- ✓UV- and heat-stable turf grades
- ✓Proper sub-base prep and drainage
- ✓Pet- and child-safe options
Suitable applications
Villa lawns, rooftop terraces, pet runs, children's play areas and rental properties that need a low-upkeep lawn are the most common applications we install for. It also works well combined with decorative stone and gravel for side yards and borders where a full lawn isn't wanted.
Villa gardens
In a villa garden, artificial grass is usually installed as the main lawn area, sometimes alongside real planting beds and trees for a mixed look, or paired with hard landscaping (paving, decking) around the edges.
Outdoor areas: rooftops, terraces and play spaces
Rooftop and terrace installs need extra attention to drainage and weight — turf and base materials have to work within the structural weight limits of a roof deck, which we account for at the specification stage rather than after delivery. For play areas, we look at cushioning and safe-fall requirements alongside the turf choice itself.
Preparation
Preparation is the step that determines whether artificial turf still looks good in three years or starts to sag, pool water, or shift at the seams. That means proper excavation, a compacted sub-base with correct fall for drainage, and a weed membrane before the turf itself goes down.
Installation process
After base preparation, turf is laid, trimmed and seamed, secured at the edges, and infilled (typically silica sand or a similar product) to help the blades stand upright and add weight against wind lift. We check drainage performance and finish quality before considering a job complete.
Drainage
Drainage is specified at the base-prep stage, not added afterward — poor drainage is the single most common cause of artificial turf failing early in this climate, whether that shows up as standing water after rain, odour build-up from pets, or the base washing out under the turf over time.
Maintenance
Artificial turf needs far less upkeep than real grass, but it isn't zero-maintenance: periodic brushing keeps the pile standing upright, debris and leaves should be cleared regularly, and pet areas benefit from an occasional rinse. See our Garden Maintenance page if you'd like this bundled into a recurring visit plan.
